Reports from England have emphasized that Chelsea head coach Franck Lampard wants to loan out Keppa Arrizaballaga before the transfer window closes next month.
These reports have intensified after the arrival of Frenchman Eduardo Mendy on Thursday from French Ligue une outfit Rennes.
According to The Sun, Chelsea is now willing to listen to offers as the club feels that the young Spaniard goalie is currently under pressure to perform for the Blues.
Kepa is unlikely to be keen on playing back-up to his replacement, so Frank Lampard is allegedly willing to sanction a loan exit before next month’s transfer deadline.
A permanent transfer is considered a more likely possibility in the future as Chelsea want to recoup at least £40million of Kepa’s £71.6m fee, and he may impress during his loan spell leading to clubs eyeing him for a permanent signing.
Kepa is unlikely to be the only departure from Stamford Bridge before the transfer window closes, as out of favour centre-back Antonio Rudiger is also being linked with a transfer.
