Just less than two seasons after making a dream move to the Santiago Bernabeu, Real Madrid have been reported to be interested in offering Belgium captain Eden Hazard back to Chelsea.
AS media has reported that the Spanish giants are planning to offer the Belgium captain back to Chelsea for just £51m.
However, with the Blues chasing several expensive targets this summer, it could be hard sell, especially with the winger’s wage demands and injury record.
The 30 year old has endured a torrid time at the Bernabeu since joining for an initial £89million in 2019.
With just five goals in two seasons, Hazard has spent most of his time injured and Madrid are reportedly happy to sell.
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel already has a rich squad full of quality wingers at his disposal and has made no secret of their desire for a new world-class striker.
Harry Kane, Erling Haaland and Robert Lewandowski have all been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge at various points this summer, hence making it difficult to get their legend Eden Hazard back.
