RUBEN FM FANS WELFARE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The annual general meeting (AGM) for ruben fm fans was conducted on 2^nd October 2022 after a long period of three years due to covid 19 restriction measures that restricted gatherings.

The incumbent chairperson Mr. Zephania ingatia welcomed all members to the meeting and shared the main agenda for the day including elections of office bearers as per the constitution.

The station manager Ruben Fm mr. Thomas Ochieng awarded all the leaders with merit certificates for the wonderful job they did during covid 19 period and how they managed to handle the fans welfare group especially in time of grief. He also encouraged the the new leadership team that was going to be elected to change the name of the welfare from self help group to a community based organization (CBO) adding that they should focus more on income generating activities.

The office bearers from the chairperson to area representatives were rendered vacant and therefore a heated election was conducted for various positions and the following emerged as the new office bearers.

• ORGANIZING SECRETARY: ANDREW OPONDO (UNOPPOSED)

the crowning of the event was done by all the members present by officially cutting a cake and every one had their share .
