Athletics Kenya on Wednesday released a list of 31 athletes who have been selected for the World Athletics Relays to be held in Silesia.
The events which have been slotted for the month of May on 1st and 2nd will see World 800m bronze medal list Ferguson Rotich among the top Kenyan athletes to grace the occasion.
Others to join Rotich in the mixed 2x2x400m, are Commonwealth 800m champion Wycliffe Kinyamal, Naomy Korir and Emily Cherotich.
Other stars that have been included to the Kenyan team for the event at the Silesian Stadium in Chorzow are national 400m record-holder Hellen Syombua and Aron Koech, who formed part of the mixed 4x400m bronze medal-winning team at the last edition of the event in Yokohama in 2019.
The Squads will participate in the men’s and women’s 4x200m and 4x400m, mixed 4x400m, 2x2x400m and shuttle hurdles relay.
