“When you are a man and you fall in love with a woman, it doesn’t matter how old she is or what she looks like. It’s not her appearance that interests me but what is inside. She has a great mind and loving heart. It might seem a bit strange having a wife who is 20 years older than your mother but that’s love.” Said the Eygptian.
Many people on African social media have questioned Mohammed’s desire to marry someone 45 years older than him, but the Briton retiree named Iris was quick to defend her new found love.
“If he’s marrying me for my fortune then he’ll be sadly disappointed because I live on a pension. I don’t suffer fools gladly. I’m honest and truthful and I told him straight away he couldn’t be a freeloader. He’s even agreed to sign a prenup because it’s me he wants – not my house. I’ve spent years making other people happy, now I just want to marry the man I love before I die.
