Admin Highly rated Senegalese center back Kalidou Koulibaly, it has been reported that he ignored English premier league teams interested to sign him this summer.
“In football, you never know what happens,” Koulibaly told Spanish press La Gazetta Dello Sport.. “I never spoke to Napoli about leaving. If we have to find a solution, we will find it, but I have never talked about the transfer market.”
The 29 year old French born defender recently won the Coppa Italia and it is rumored that he is to extend his stay with Italian giants Napoli.
Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool and Spanish power house Barcelona have all been linked with Koulibaly.
However to note with much interest is the fact that Koulibaly’s representatives still insists that they are yet to discuss any transfer potential move with his parent club.
His representatives claim that he is happy and will continue to play for Naploi. It has also been rumored that new coach Gennarro Gattuso has instilled a winning mentality in his charges and settled previous disputes between the management and players.
