YOU DO NOT HAVE TO STEAL AND PLAY DIRTY IN ORDER TO GET TO THE TOP, GIDEON MOI LECTURES FELLOW POLITICIANS

Baringo County Senator Gideon Moi, on Monday afternoon lashed out on his colleagues in the political world for seeking fame by stealing public properties and then playing dirty politics.

Speaking during the late Simeon Nyachae’s burial ceremony, Gideon was critical and harsh on his opponents.

“It is difficult nowadays to find people who had characters like that one of mzee Nyachae, to be successful in your career, you do not have to steal or engage in short cuts in your career,” said Gideon who also added that politicians in Kenya should all follow the late Nyachae’s example by working hard and adding honesty in their daily lives.

Top leaders in the country led by President Uhuru Kenyatta, ODM party leader Raila Odinga and deputy President William Ruto also attended the ceremony at Gusii Stadium.

Earlier on there were reports that Kisii county deputy governor Joash Maangi and South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro were arrested.

The two who are allies of deputy president Ruto, were whisked away from the tents by plain clothes police officers for further interrogations.
