A post by Vitalis Nyambeka on facebook on 3rd November, /2022 requesting for donation for hunger stricken Kenya plying as Kenya Red Cross Society has been flagged down by the humanitarian body as being fake and urged kenyans to ignore the above mentioned account.

This post that has urged Kenyans to send their donation has been flagged down by The Kenya Red Cross Society  on twitter on 3rd November, 2022 .

The Kenya Red Cross has warned Kenyans not to fall victims to the fraudsters and ignore the account.

 

Via a press release on 4th November, 2022, ,The Kenya Red Cross Society has gone ahead to give the correct donation details through their social media platforms.

The post by Vitalis Nyambeka on the donation call is therefore false and misleading.
